Example class page

Every class needs a cubby.

Class info ends up everywhere: buried in a group text, lost in an email thread, crumpled at the bottom of a backpack. Class Cubby puts it in one place families can bookmark, and it stays up to date because you update it in one spot.

"Wait, what time is the party?" in a group text

Reply-all thread about who brings plates

Paper sign-up sheet by the classroom door

Flyer about picture day, somewhere in a backpack

Sorted into

Everything a room parent juggles, in one spot.

Families open one link to see what's coming up and pitch in. You change it all from a simple editor on your phone or computer.

Updates and dates

News and a calendar families actually check

Post an update in a minute, add photos and links, and every date lands on a monthly calendar. Past events tidy themselves away.

  • News posts with photos and buttons to links
  • Upcoming events, plus a month view with school days off
  • Past emails and newsletters, all in one place
Sign-ups

Sign-ups that can't double-book

One form can ask for RSVPs, jobs and things to bring. Families take a spot in a tap, change it later, and add it to their calendar.

  • Spots fill up on their own; nobody can over-take one
  • "12 of 24 juice boxes": families can bring part of a need
  • Families see first names and last initials; you see everything
Surveys

Find a date that works for most families

Offer a few dates and let families mark Works, If needed or Can't. The best one rises to the top while you watch.

  • Date polls, pick-one and pick-any questions
  • Families see counts, never each other's names
  • Copy the results in one click for your email
Class fund

Know what's in the class fund, and what it's for

Link your Venmo so families can chip in, then keep a simple record of money in and out, with a plan for teacher gifts, parties and more. The ledger stays private to room parents.

  • A "Pay in Venmo" button on the class page
  • Balance, set aside and free to use at a glance
  • Download the records for the next room parent
  • Also in the cubby

  • Class allergiesWhat can't come to class, and what's fine in a packed lunch. Never which child.
  • Wish listLink your classroom's wish list and say what's needed most right now.
  • Photos and newslettersA small gallery and every newsletter, as a PDF or a photo of the page.
  • Suggestion boxFamilies can send ideas, with or without their name. Only room parents read them.
  • Teacher notes and birthdaysPrivate notes from teacher chats, favorites and birthdays, ready for next year.
  • Your class's lookPick colors, fonts and a header photo, and put sections in the order you like.

Up and running before pickup.

  1. 1

    Make your class page

Pick a name and a web address, then add your first update and the dates you already know.

  2. 2

    Share one link

Send it in the class group text or email. Families bookmark it, and that's the last link you'll need to send.

  3. 3

    Families find what they need

No app and no account for families. They read the news, take a spot and answer surveys right on the page.

Several room parents can edit, each with their own sign-in. At the end of the year, invite next year's room parent and hand it over.

One portal for every class at your school.

Room parents keep running their own pages. Your school gets a portal to see them all, approve new ones and step in to help when it's needed.

  • Every class page at your school in one list
  • New class pages wait for your approval to join
  • Invite room parents and open any class's editor to help
  • Turn a page off, or sign everyone out of it, in a click
  • Every class at your school gets the full set of features

Made with little kids' privacy in mind.

A class page is about young children, so it's built to share what families need and nothing more.

  • Kept out of search enginesClass pages ask Google and others not to list them. Families get there from your link.
  • An optional class passwordTurn it on and the news, sign-ups and photos only show to families who know it.
  • First names and last initialsFamilies see "Dana P." on a sign-up. Only room parents see full names.
  • Your number stays yoursRoom parents' phone numbers and emails stay hidden unless you choose to show them.
  • No location in photosPhotos are resized as they upload, which removes where they were taken.
  • Every class on its ownEach class has its own page and address. Nothing one family types shows up in another class.

Questions room parents ask

Something else? Sign up free and look around; nothing goes on your page until you publish.

Do families need an app or an account?

No. Families open your class's link in any browser. To sign up for something or answer a survey, they just type their name.

Can more than one room parent edit the page?

Yes. Invite the other room parents by email; each signs in with their own email, so nobody shares a password.

What happens at the end of the school year?

Invite next year's room parent, then remove yourself once they've signed in. The class fund records and teacher notes stay with the page.

Does my school need to use Class Cubby?

No. A class page works on its own. If your school joins later, you can ask to add your page to it from your editor.

Can I keep the page private?

Yes. Class pages are kept out of search engines from the start, and you can turn on a class password so only families who know it can see the news, sign-ups and photos.

What does it cost?

A class page is free to start. Prices for the class upgrade and for school plans are coming soon, and schools start with a free trial.
